Bipolar Quiz

You scored a total of 42

Based upon your responses to this bipolar disorder quiz, you appear to be suffering from moderate to severe symptoms associated with a bipolar disorder. People who have answered similarly to you typically qualify for a diagnosis of Bipolar I Disorder and have sought professional treatment for this disorder. (You may, however, still fit into the less serious diagnosis of Bipolar II Disorder.)

You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, if would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional soon to rule out a possible depressive disorder.

Well I got a 10 so I guess that makes me almost normal.
But my baby boy has got it bad. At 6' 5" and 350 lb. the mood swings can be a little nerve racking for the people around him. When he was a teenager we all thought it was just the wild side he got from me.
He turn to street drugs, said it controlled the mood swings. He's in a maximum security prison now.
Got busted for drugs plus sent a bunch of old boys to intensive care that tried to jump him in a bar one night. They diagnosed him as bipolar while he was in county for a year awaiting trail. They finally got him on a drug that worked before they sent him to state. At the prison they switch him to Prozac. he said all that dose is make him sleep all the time, doesnt do anything for the mood swings. We complained but they said that is all the state furnishes them with. He gets out in the fall and we've got him set up to see the same people that was treating him in county. So maybe I can get my boy back too just a little on the wild side.

I've known people get into prison and suddenly get their meds played with. Not cool. The problem if he is bipolar is that Prozac is just an antidepressant. It may only trigger him higher. Good luck.
